Meet us in the St. Thomas parking lot at 9:30am (after 8:30am Mass). Mass is optional. Bring your own sack lunch, and don’t forget sunscreen, bug spray, and lots of water!

It’s supposed to be 96 in Billings Sunday and 82 in Red Lodge, so it’ll be a perfect day to spend hiking and enjoying that cool mountain air!

We will drive/car pool to Red Lodge and proceed to Basin Lakes Trail No. 61. to Lower Basin Creek Lake. This is a beautiful 6 mile hike with a 1,476 elevation gain. Get ready to earn some incredible views, gorgeous stream crossings, and a lake at the top as your reward!

Lunch will be around 11:30 before we hike.

We plan on driving back to Billings around 4:00pm, but this is just an estimate, it depends on how quickly we decide to go. We may stop for dinner before leaving down. This is to be determined and is optional!
